England Calling at the Petersen did exactly what we wanted. It turned into a packed British morning with everything from Minis and MGs to modern Aston Martins and McLarens lined up at the museum.

The undisputed star arrival was the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50. It rolled into the cruise-in and immediately drew a crowd, with people circling the car, phones out, and conversations shifting from “which Jaguar is your favorite” to fanboy-level talk about manual gearboxes and screaming V12s. It felt like the whole event paused for a few minutes while everyone took in a modern British halo car parked a few feet from classic Triumphs and old-school Land Rovers.
Cars and Bids Awards
We also handed out Cars and Bids awards to some standout British metal. Our team walked the rows and picked favorites that captured what this event is about great designs, thoughtful builds, and owners who clearly care. The awards added a fun bit of friendly competition and gave us a chance to spotlight a mix of classics and newer cars before everyone headed into the Petersen and the P3 garage.
