The largest gathering of station wagons in the universe is back at the Petersen on Sunday, May 3rd, and Cars & Bids is rolling in with the crew. Tourings, Estates, Avants, Sport Turismos, Nomads, woodies, slammed haulers, factory-stock survivors — if it's got a roof that runs all the way to the tailgate, it belongs here.
This is the show that proves once and for all that the best-looking version of any car is almost always the wagon. Come argue about it. We'll be there.
What to expect
400 of the coolest wagons on the planet parked in front of one of the best car museums on Earth. Expect the full spectrum: mint RS6 Avants next to crusty Country Squires, E34 Tourings hanging out with Volvo 245s, Mercedes T-models, Accord wagons, Subaru Legacy Outbacks, the occasional Caprice with three rows and a pulse. If you've ever typed "why aren't there more wagons" into a search bar, this is your morning.
Tickets
Wagon Registration: $45 — includes your spot in the show, a commemorative poster, a sticker, and one general admission ticket to the Petersen.
Avants and Petersen members: Save $15 (check your email for the code).
Spectators: Free. Just show up.
Only 400 spots. Register before the event — proceeds benefit the Petersen Automotive Museum.
